Settings Overview
Settings is where you manage your Moniqo account itself, separate from any one budget’s accounts, envelopes, or transactions. Today, Settings covers your personal Profile: your name, email address, and account details.

What’s Here Today
- Profile: update your display name and email address, and see when your account was created and when you last logged in.
What’s Coming
Moniqo’s Settings area is actively growing. Additional sections, like preferences, notifications, security options, data export, and shared-budget member management, are being built and will appear here as they’re finished. This guide will be updated as each one becomes available.
Notes
- Settings apply to your Moniqo account as a whole, not to an individual budget. If you’re looking to rename a budget, change its currency, or manage who has access to it, that’s handled from within the budget itself rather than from Settings.
- Some account actions, like changing your password or deleting your account, aren’t available from the Settings page yet. See Profile for the current best way to handle those.
Tips & Best Practices
- Keep your email address current; it’s how Moniqo would reach you for anything account-related.
- Check back here occasionally as new Settings sections roll out, rather than assuming the feature set is fixed.
